I was born and raised in Ghana, and Africa has always been more than a destination for me. It is home.
I have traveled to different parts of the world, but traveling in Africa has always felt different. Its cultures, its people, and the connections formed along the way create experiences that stay with you long after the journey ends.
Across the continent, every country has its own character, traditions, and stories. Yet it is often the personal moments I remember most: a conversation, a shared meal, or the generosity of being welcomed into someone's world. My travels eventually brought me to South Africa, where a deeper connection began to take shape. That connection would ultimately become part of the story of Lebene Travel.
Asaba

Lebene is a word from the Ewe language of Ghana, inspired by my Ghanaian roots.
It means “take good care of her” or “take good care of him.”
I chose the name because its meaning captures something I have always believed about travel: taking good care of someone begins with understanding them.
It means listening, paying attention to the details, and recognizing that no two travelers experience a place in quite the same way.
That spirit of care became the foundation of Lebene Travel and continues to guide the way we welcome and look after every traveler.
I call it The Lebene Way.
South Africa captured my attention from my first visit, but it was through returning that I began to appreciate just how much the country has to offer.
Few places bring together such a remarkable range of experiences. Wildlife and wilderness, dramatic coastlines, mountains and vineyards, vibrant cities, exceptional food, rich cultures, and a history that adds depth and context to the journey.
What I love most is that South Africa never feels like just one destination. Each region has its own character, and every visit can reveal something entirely different.
It is a country I continue to explore, learn from, and return to with curiosity.
That is why South Africa became the heart of Lebene Travel.

Not at all. You may have a clear vision or simply know that South Africa is calling you. The inquiry form is a starting point, and we can take the conversation from there.
We recommend beginning several months in advance. South Africa’s most sought-after safari lodges and accommodations can fill quickly, so planning early gives you greater choice and flexibility.
For a first visit, 10 to 14 days is a wonderful starting point. It allows time to experience more than one region without making the journey feel rushed.
There is no single best time. South Africa is a year-round destination, and the right season depends on the regions you want to visit and the experiences that matter most to you.
Absolutely. Your journey can combine safari with Cape Town, the Winelands, the coast, and other regions of South Africa, or extend to neighboring countries for a broader experience of the region.
Yes. You’ll have support from our trusted partners on the ground in South Africa, along with continued support from Lebene Travel throughout your journey.
Complete our inquiry form and tell us a little about yourself and the journey you’re considering. I’ll be in touch to continue the conversation and discuss what comes next.
